How It Started

The brand was created as a form of me dealing with my grief with losing my first born. I was losing myself slowly mentally, physically and emotionally I needed an outlet.

My son had a Swag about himself that he could put on anything and make it look good. We often talk about creating all types of things. He had a way with people that was smooth and exciting. When he passed I met so many people that he had come across and impacted in some type of way. The word Highway came in mind because A highway is any public or private road or other public way on land. It is used for major roads, but also includes other public roads and public tracks., And my son brought so many people together in his death doing a time when COVID was at it's highest no one care everyone just wants to show support and love. The number 56 is the day and month his earthly journey ended and he began his next chapter of life. The word Swag describes his style. My goal with Highway 56 Swag is to be able to help kid's in the community doing prom and graduation and to donate back into the local high school since I never got to experience senior year and graduation with him.
